Jennifer joined the company in March 2014 and has 4 years experience in the umbrella industry as well as experience in the recruitment industry. Jennifer’s role is to develop new and existing business using her extensive industry knowledge. Due to her experience in the umbrella sector she has a wide number of contacts in a number of sectors including construction, engineering, technical, social care and finance industry.

Lucy joined Umbrella.co.uk in April, with a background in PR Lucy's abilities of creating and nurturing relationships with clients saw her quickly move from an executive to management position. As a Business Development Manager, Lucy is tasked with managing strong relationships within some of our key accounts, along with introducing new business. Lucy provides professional support to both consultants and their contractors.

 

 

Business Development

The business development team at umbrella.co.uk are charged with bringing in a percentage of new business, acting as the mediator between agency and service provider in a highly competitive industry. Other parts of the role include keeping the agencies we work alongside up to date with all legislation matters. Dealing with PSL and ASL tenders, maintaining agency relationships and acting as day to day point of contact for key accounts.

New Business Team

The new business team looks after all new contractor enquiries that come in. They run through a thorough consultation with each contractor/freelancer explaining the various payment solutions available. PAYE Umbrella, if feasible our Accountancy Services. With the aim of providing best advice.

Steve joined Umbrella in 2011 bringing extensive telesales experience to the team. Steve's role includes dealing with contractor enquiries, completing thorough consultations with contractors and freelancers to gain a good understanding of their personal circumstances and explaining the various payment solutions available to help them decide which suits them best. Steve will also assist contractors to identifying which of our added value services are relevant. In his spare time Steve enjoys sports and socialising.

Ambika loves handbags so much she even has a bag for her handbag!

Nicolas's role includes dealing with contractor enquiries, completing thorough consultations with contractors and freelancers to gain a good understanding of their personal circumstances and explaining the various payment solutions available to help them decide which suits them best. Nicolas will also assist contractors to identifying which of our added value services are relevant. In his spare time Nicolas enjoys going out with his family trying different cuisines and travelling.

Harriet joined Umbrella in July 2016.  Her role is supporting the various sales elements of our business by logging, tracking and distributing business opportunities, and by carrying out administrative support for the sales and customer service teams.  Her previous jobs have all been in areas which enabled her to develop a skill set compatible with the role she now fills.
