Peter has been with Umbrella.co.uk since the company started. He is a client services, operations and compliance expert, gaining experience in both public and private sectors. The first 10 years with Umbrella were spent establishing and directing a first-class customer service and onboarding operation for our umbrella customers. After a spell managing the delivery of services on behalf of Umbrella Accountants and CloudAccountant.co.uk, he has returned to the umbrella business with extra responsibilities for our industry leading compliance standards.
Emma joined the company in 2010 starting as an Account Manager, and quickly progressed to become a Senior Member within the team. Emma manages the Welcome Team and is responsible for the processes which assist in the induction of new customers. Emma has over 10 years experience within the customer service and recruitment industry. In her spare time Emma enjoys snowboarding and pottering around in her classic Fiat 500.
Kim has come to Umbrella with a wealth of administration and customer service experience. Kim is already proving to be invaluable additional to the Umbrella family, helping to navigate our contractors and consultants through the onboarding process.
Stacey joined Umbrella in 2015 as an assistant in the Contracts Team. Since then she has risen to the position of Contracts Manager and has brought the huge industry knowledge she has acquired to the role. Stacey also works very closely with the Customer Services and Onboarding teams and her all-round knowledge of Umbrella’s processes makes her very much a ‘go-to’ person.
Sarah joined the company in 2013 as an Account Manager. She quickly progressed to a Senior account manager then onto a team leader and is now our Customer Services Manager. Sarah has got over 10 years’ experience within the customer service and financial services industry. Sarah is a very valuable and productive member of the Customer Services team.
Adam joined Umbrella as an Account Manager and has since been promoted to a senior account manager then Onboarding Account Manager. Having worked for the previous 5 years for Marks and Spencer’s. He went up through the hierarchy to finish up leading on complaint handling for their furniture division. In Adam’s spare time he enjoying keeping fit and cycling.
Suzi is a key member of the customer services team and is currently interim Customer Services Manager. In her spare time Suzi likes gardening and enjoys watching her daughter play football.
Christel recently joined the team having held senior positions in Finance, Merchandising, and latterly Entertainment. Educated with a Master's degree in Trade and Finance, Christel’s experience and passion for getting the job done to a very high standard will help Umbrella continue to lead the way in its field.
Ciara joined the customer service team in 2020, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge and experience from the customer service and retail industries. Umbrella customer services is now allowing her to develop her communication skills even further and utilise her already excellent customer relations skills. Ciara won the coveted “Spirit of Umbrella” award in 2020 only further highlighting her superb skills in looking after all her Umbrella clients. In her spare time I enjoy socialising, spending time with her family and keeping busy.
Laura joined Umbrella Business Development team in 2020. Laura then moved her extensive skill set over to the customer service team. In doing so she has extended her knowledge of the business and can also utilise her wealth of customer service experience that she gained over the years working for some of the most renowned companies in the airline industry such as Etihad and Emirates. In her spare time Laura loves being outdoors, spending time with friends and family, and planning for her next Holiday!
Emily’s customer service experience in various jobs has allowed her to provide the best service for her clients, understanding their needs and always making sure they are happy with the result. Emily is now developing her skills with Umbrella to bring her experience into the business for the future. Emily has a very creative side, having studied fashion for 6 years, earning her a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Image Making & Styling.
Jamie has worked in customer service for many years before joining Umbrella and brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience to help him handle even the most complex of queries. In his spare time Jamie’s passion is playing the guitar and walking up mountains.
