The simple answer is yes you could have 2 Umbrella Companies.

It is just the same as having two jobs or 2 employers.

As with any second job though you would be taxed using the BR tax code meaining that all your income for your second nominated employer is taxed at the basic rate. If you are already using your full personal allowance this would have little effect and any under or over payment of tax would be reconciled at the end of the tax year.

There is however no reason why your one umbrella company could deal with both your contracts though and this may in fact be easier for you.
