A recent Business Report has highlighted how Wilmslow is a town in boom. At PayMatters we would like to think we have contributed in some way to this.

PayMatters Limited currently employs over 2,000 people working through its umbrella company. These are flexible employees who work short term assignments usually through assignments placed by a recruitment agency.

It also employs approximately 60 members of staff in its administration centre based in Wilmslow.

PayMatters Limited currently has an annual turnover in excess of £50m per annum.

Our main contribution to the boom in Wilmslow that was highlighted in the Business Confidence Report is our role in providing accountancy solutions to small owner managed limited companies.

In the report it highlighted that the first half of 2013 saw a new record of company registrations in Wilmslow when compared to any previous first half year.

In the first half of 2013 a total of 736 companies were formed in Wilmslow. This figure is 43.2% higher than last year, which compares well to the UK wide figure of 6.4% and the highest first half year total recorded.

Over the same period PayMatters formed 489 limited companies on behalf of its clients (66% of the total).
