APSCo Compliance Plus is a best practice standard for education and social worker sectors to help ensure the supply of high quality, appropriate teachers and social workers and thereby help safeguard children, young people and vulnerable adults.

APSCo Compliance Plus was launched in January 2014 following APSCO consultations with The Association of School and College Leaders (ASCL), The National Association of Head Teachers (NAHT), The Education Union, Voice (and subsequently in respect of Social Work) The British Association of Social Workers (BASW), The Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC), the Eastern Shires Purchasing Organisation (ESPO), representatives of managed serviced providers (MSPs) and also leading London Borough and city councils.
